It's all about those special fleeting moments. Roaming the streets or sitting in the subway, I've always loved watching people, their gestures and body language, their wordless gazes. The stories of others touch me because they often mirror my own frame of mind.

I started my first video experiments at an early age and got insight into several film production companies in Beijing, Munich and Berlin. I'm experienced in all aspects of film production, especially project development, camera work, research, street casting and editing. Since autumn 2008, I've been studying documentary film at the University of Television and Film Munich. My short film ON A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE was screened at DOK Leipzig 2009 and many other international festivals, received a honorable mention at the kurz.film.spiele Film Festival Konstanz 2009 and has been awarded as "important cinematic work" at the Alternative Film/Video Festival Belgrade 2010. Moreover, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU NOT has won the 1st prize at the International Competition of Ca'Foscari Short Film Festival, Venice 2011.
